EP. 55 Trusting Your Intuition w/ Maria Abramovich
What happens when a self-described skeptic discovers she’s deeply intuitive? In this episode, Naz sits down with her friend Maria Abramovich, a private advisor whose expertise is intuition, energetics and manifestation.
Maria shares how she went from pre-med labs and a high-achieving, intellect-driven identity to a mental health crisis in her early twenties that no one could explain. At a qigong retreat in Costa Rica, one sentence from a guide, “you’re not your history,” changed everything. She went on to earn a master’s in music therapy, reverse-engineered her own gifts, and kept her energy work quiet for years before finally stepping into visibility in 2020.
Together, Naz and Maria explore:
- Fear of being seen, and why not everyone has to agree with you (or buy from you) for your work to be valid
- Holding hope and hardship at the same time, without spiritual bypassing
- Why everyone is intuitive: gut feelings, “spidey senses,” trusting yourself as a problem solver
- How active listening and presence are forms of intuition
- Why good things can feel just as overwhelming as hard ones
- Why fear coming back doesn’t mean your healing didn’t work, you just stop making it mean something
